| My paintings and prints portray a life of disorientation from many peripatetic moves, upheavals and dislocations. Memory traces of all the places I have inhabited persist, partial, surreal, merged with the imagined. |

| The work includes extensive use of maps, sometimes newspaper, collage, text or found objects resulting in the creation of a personal topography. There are occasional intimations of aerial landscapes when viewed from a distance, singing abstract, rhythmic movements. Lured closer, drawn into the piece, layers begin to unfold, veils lift, revealing more and disparate details of this idiosyncratic world. |
